I requested Vin Diesel for a Final Witch Hunter sequel, and he delivered

I yelled into the web void for Lionsgate to make a sequel to The Final Witch Hunter, and the movie gods bestowed upon me a present. A sequel has been confirmed 10 years later — with Vin Diesel and Michael Caine reprising their respective roles.

The Final Witch Hunter sequel is being fast-tracked with Vin Diesel’s manufacturing firm, One Race Movies, connected, and Caine coming back from retirement to reprise his function because the priestly Dolan. Final Witch Hunter grossed $130 million on the worldwide field workplace in 2015 and was ranked among the many 5 most-watched motion pictures on Netflix in 2025, so this information is arguably is a no brainer. Plus, Diesel just isn’t one to let one among his authentic IPs die. (Why Caine felt the necessity to come out of retirement is just a little murkier.)

“The Final Witch Hunter has grown since its theatrical launch into a world fan favourite, with audiences persevering with to find and re-watch it throughout each platform over the previous decade,” stated Adam Fogelson, chair of Lionsgate Movement Image Group, in a press launch. “That enduring enthusiasm made clear there’s an urge for food for extra tales set on this world. Vin and I’ve partnered many occasions through the years, and he’s a real pressure in our business. I’m thrilled to be reuniting with him as he returns to this iconic function, and excited by how developments in filmmaking know-how now enable us to economically ship a sequel on an much more bold scale.”

The unique movie follows the immortal warrior Kaulder (Diesel), who enforces a fragile truce between witches and people in present-day New York. When his mentor (Caine) is attacked, he groups with a brand new Dolan (Elijah Wooden) and a rogue witch (Rose Leslie) to cease a plot to resurrect the Witch Queen and unleash a lethal plague. Kaulder was famously impressed by Diesel’s precise D&D character.

Positive, a few of you hate The Final Witch Hunter, however a minimum of it’s not one other xXx sequel! Nonetheless, if Lionsgate really makes use of my “mad scientist Dolan” or magic-meets-science New York chaos pitch, I need my cash!
